2021 In July, the National Bank of Spain (Banco de España) issued a € 10 commemorative silver coin to commemorate the 450th anniversary of the Battle of Lepanto.

In the center is a portrait of His Majesty King Philip VI of Spain.

In the center of the coin is the galera "Real", the flagship of the Holy League's navy at the Battle of Lepanto, with the following inscriptions at the Barcelona Maritime Museum:

- on the left, BATALLA DE LEPANTO, on the right, GALERA REAL and the mintmark

- "1571" and "2021" are indicated on the right

below is the denomination "10 EURO"
