The Mayflower silver coin is the fourth issue in the Nautical Unce series to mark the 400th anniversary of the English ship. The Mayflower was led by Christopher Jones and was one of the first ships to bring pilgrims to the New World. The coin was minted in 2020 from silver 999, weighing 31.1 grams. The coin was issued as legal tender in Rwanda, with a face value of 50 francs. Coin in original capsule.
Reverse: Rwandan symbols and a 50 franc denomination are depicted.
Obverse: Mayflower. On the left is a stylized compass. At the top - marine instruments. Around the perimeter is the words “NAUTICAL OUNCE” and “1oz FINE SILVER 999 2020”.
