The fifth coin in the Nautical Ounce series is represented by the famous four-masted sailing ship Sedov.
Sedov (built in 1921 under the name Magdalena Vinnen II, Kommodore Johnsen since 1936) is a four-masted barge. Transferred to Germany by the USSR as a reparation and renamed in honor of famous Russia. polar researcher Georgijus Jakovlevičius Sedovas. It is the largest surviving sailing training vessel to date, on the basis of which the bar was entered in the Guinness Book of Records in 1989.
The obverse of the coin bears the coat of arms of Rwanda and a denomination of 50 francs.
The reverse depicts the sailing ship Sedov with a stylized compass in the background. Along the edge are the words "Nautical Unce", "2021", marine instruments, metal weight and purity.
