The obverse of the coins features a stylized coat of arms of the Republic of Lithuania, Vytis, surrounded by the inscriptions LIETUVA and 2 LITAI, as well as the logo of the Lithuanian Mint (UAB Lietuvos monetų kalykla).
The reverse of the coins depicts either a natural or a human creation: Puntukas, the Stelmužė Oak, a kurėnas (traditional fishing boat), or a distaff. The corresponding name is inscribed in a semicircle above, with the year of issue, 2013, at the bottom.
